reproject shapefiles temporaly

Hi

In french it's called "reprojection à la volée", what is the english way to say it?

I also want to know if the 4.8 version is able to do that. I'd searched on the online documentation and the only way I found to do that, is to create a second shapefile with shapefile.reproject and erase it after.

I think you are referring to "on-the-fly- projection" we don't support that capability... sorry!
