Buffering in MapWinGIS 4.6

I'm currently working on a project where we need to buffer different types of shape files such  as Polygon and Polyline shape files.  I've implemented the code using code "BufferPolygonSF" and "BufferLineSF" functions but for some reason it is just copies exactly the input shape file and outputs the copy. There doesn't seem like any kind of buffering is going on. I understand that we are using an older version of MapWinGIS and at this point I don't think it would help us to upgrade. Does anyone have any idea what I may be doing wrong or have had this problem before? Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

What version are you using?

If you upgrade to version 4.8.6 you'll get better and faster buffer methods:

Upgrading doesn't come with benefits only. We've also implemented a new routine to color shapes. This means you need to update your code for that as well:

Sorry I didn't see your message earlier. We are using version 4.6 but I found what the problem with the buffering was. It had to do with our internal code and was irrelevant to MapWinGIS. Everything seems to be working just fine now. Thanks for your reply!
